Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actress and producer. She has gained recognition for her exceptional performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. Her film Piano earned her an Oscar. Actresses have a lengthy history of working on Broadway as well as Off-Broadway initiatives. Enthusiastic about acting from the time she was in school, she portrayed Helen Keller in a play in fifth grade. In the fifth grade, after having mumps she lost hearing in her left ear.
